Darfur is located in western Sudan, it is what the United Nations has said to be the world’s worst humanitarian crisis. Since February 2003, over 400,000 men, women and children have died. About 2.5 million innocent people have been forced to leave their homes. The cause of this is the open warfare and government "ethnic cleansing" that started in 2003, people all over Darfur are going hungry, dying, or being left homeless. This genocide hits African Fur, Masalit, and Zaghawa ethnic groups. Livestock, food stores, wells and pumps, blankets and clothing has been either stolen or destroyed by the government, villages have been torched more then once.

There have been calls for investigations on this matter, but the system manipulation and little international access, nothing has been done by the entirety of the country. WIth the rainy season comming up, things are only expected to get worse. 100,000 or more people are expected to die within the next twelve months if something isn't done about this trajedy.
